Krista-Lee Crook

Of Counsel

801-375-1920

Krista Crook graduated Magna Cum Laude from UVU in 2013 with a Bachelor’s of Science in Paralegal Studies and Criminal Justice, and graduated from BYU Law School in 2017. While in law school, Krista performed over 80 hours of mediation and placed an emphasis on Trial Advocacy, learning trial techniques and acting as Co-Chair of skills training for other law students. She was recognized in her last year of law school as the Trial Competition Champion, receiving the Utah State Bar Division of Litigation Award.

After an internship at the County Attorney’s Office, Krista spent time in the Sandy City Attorney’s Office and the Department of Corrections Division at the Utah Attorney General’s Office. Several years were spent in the corporate world providing counsel to Renatus, LLC., and Macros Inc., where she drafted and enforced contracts and marketing agreements, advised on regulatory compliance in sales, marketing, and advertising and oversaw content creation for thousands of marketing affiliates. Krista now uses her skill set to help those through the criminal justice process from negotiating with prosecutors to defending clients in trial, and serving those in need of victim rights representation.

Krista is actively involved in her community. She regularly volunteers and serves at the Provo Food & Care Coalition, provides services to the women’s shelter and provides pro bono legal services to low-income clients.

Krista is dedicated to providing her clients with the highest quality legal representation, while also helping them navigate the emotional toll that comes with these types of cases.
